Shea Eric Baggett is a proud alumnus of the prestigious University of Texas at Austin. Since graduating from Southern Methodist University School of Law in 2001, he has amassed extensive trial and litigation experience in both civil litigation and criminal defense.
Mr. Baggett has been recognized as one of the premier trial lawyers in the country. He has been selected as a member of The National Trial Lawyers Top 100 Trial Lawyers. He is also a lifetime member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, which is recognized as one of the most prestigious groups of trial lawyers in the United States and is limited to attorneys who have obtained million dollar verdicts or settlements for their clients. Additionally, Mr. Baggett has received the highest rating classification of “superb” by AVVO, a prominent nationwide lawyer ranking service.
Prior to forming Hernandez & Baggett, PLLC in 2009 with his close friend and colleague Robert Hernandez, Mr. Baggett was the namesake in the highly successful Dallas firm, the Law Offices of Shea Baggett. Previously, he honed his skills as a staff attorney at the House of Ruth Maryland and as an assistant city attorney for the City of Dallas.
Mr. Baggett has successfully litigated cases involving severe injuries resulting from premise liability defects, product liability claims, dram shop cases, and car and motorcycle accidents. In addition, he has successfully defended clients on a vast array of felony and misdemeanor criminal charges.
Mr. Baggett resides in Dallas with his wife and two children.
