Shea Eric Baggett practices primarily in the areas of personal injury, civil litigation and criminal defense. He is licensed and admitted to practice in Texas, New Mexico and Maryland.  He received his Bachelor of Arts in Government from the University of Texas at Austin and his Juris Doctor from SMU Dedman School of Law.

Mr. Baggett has been recognized as one of the premier trial lawyers in the country. He has been selected as a member of The National Trial Lawyers Top 100 Trial Lawyers and he is a lifetime member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, which is recognized as one of the most prestigious groups of trial lawyers in the United States and is limited to attorneys who have obtained million dollar verdicts or settlements for their clients. Less than 1% of U.S. lawyers are members.  Additionally, Mr. Baggett has received the highest rating classification of “superb” by AVVO, a prominent nationwide lawyer ranking service.

Prior to founding Hernandez, Medina & Baggett, PLLC in 2023, he was a partner in Hernandez & Baggett, PLLC and the owner and sole practitioner of the Law Offices of Shea Baggett. Prior to that he honed his skills as a staff attorney at the House of Ruth Maryland and as an assistant city attorney for the City of Dallas.

Mr. Baggett has successfully litigated cases involving severe injuries resulting from premise liability defects, product liability claims, dram shop cases, and car and truck accidents. In addition, he has successfully defended clients on a vast array of felony and misdemeanor criminal charges.

Mr. Baggett enjoys spending time in Texas and New Mexico with his wife and two children.
